Boarden Camping Trip!

In August we went on a camping trip with Nick's whole family! It was a BLAST! We went to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho!

This was our beautiful view by our camp site!

Our 1st day in Lava we went tubbing down the river. It was so much fun! Luckily I was on a 4 man tube with some of the girls, the single man tubbers were having a heck of a time staying on their tubes. After we went tubbing we went to the pool!

I'm pretty proud of this picture! I am so surprised I found a flower with a butterfly on it that was not camera shy! ;)

Nick's not the biggest camper, but he sure had a fun time on this camping trip!

Happy FIRST Year Anniversary!

Nick and I have officially been married for a year. We got married August, 13 2009! This year has been amazing! We are so lucky to have such an amazing marriage! I love my husband so much! People told us the 1st year is the hardest, if this year was supposed to be the hardest than I can't imagine how amazing the years to come are going to be! ;)

BBQ

We got a new BBQ this summer. I love it (mainly because when we BBQ, Nick is the one doing the cooking)!

Couples Book Club

This month we did Couples Book Club! It was so fun to show the guys what we do every time! I'm pretty sure all the boys really liked it. They were the ones who kept talking about the book even when it was over!

We read Ender's Game this month! It was SO good! I definitely recommend it! Notice the "bugger" cupcakes! :)

July 10'

New Camera
Nick completely surprised me with this new camera! It is so amazing! He knew how bad I wanted one. I love it! Thanks again babe! *I have the best husband* Seriously!

Goodbye Eye Cessories

I worked my last day at Eye Cessories in July. I had worked there for about 3 years. Over 4,200 hours I spent in that store (yes, I added up the hours ;)). It was kind of weird leaving, but I'm excited to be working at Sun Stop in the Southtowne mall.

1st Hair Cut by the Wife

I cut Nick's hair for the 1st time! I wanted to learn how to do it so that I can just cut it from now on. I have to say I think I did a pretty good job! Nick was a little nervous at first, but was surprised that it actually looked really good!

Girls Weekend
In July I got to go on a girls weekend trip with some of my best friends. It was so fun to get away for a bit. I loved the shopping, eating out, movie, and long girl talks (especially in a hot tub at midnight)! :)

Books!
These are all the books I have read so far this year. I have to say they have ALL been really good!

Homework :/! I sure can't wait for Nick to be done with school. He only has about a year left!

Happy 4th Of July!

This year for the 4th of July Nick and I went to watch fire works with his family the day before and then went to my sisters with my family the day of.

Our poor children, they will be smothered with kisses!

June 10'

Summer Fun With the Family!
June was such a fun month! We got to spend a lot of time with my family!

When we were at the park the sprinklers came on and scared all of us! The grown ups ran away and the kids ran for the sprinklers. I stole this pic from my sisters blog. Ha, its the best!

This guy turned 9 this month! We celebrated his birthday and then went to my nieces T-ball game. It was so cute to see her play and to be with the fam.

Eclipse!

Of course we had to see Eclipse when it came out ;)! It was pretty good! Nick even liked it! :)

Some Babysitting!
I got to watch my sweet nieces while my sister and her husband went on a date! This is pretty typical. Ady would not go to bed...

Manti Pageant!

I love the Manti Pageant! I am so glad we went because I have not been in a few years. I forgot how good it is. My sister lives in Ephraim so we got to go with the whole fam.

My favorite part is my brother in-laws face in the background ;)!

Goodbye VW Beetle!
It was a good thing to sell my car because it was starting to get a lot of problems, but it was sad at the same time. This was my first car that I got when I was 16! Lot's of good times with it!
